Shadowbinder Onyx Idol 		An intimidating stature and an icy stare are usually the first things one will notice when they meet Onyx. The second thing they will note is the smell of evergreens and black licorice. His smooth black carapace sparkles in any light, but in some areas it has been cracked revealing a softer interior.

He strongly believes in the needs-of-many-over-the-needs-of-one philosophy, and will act for the benefit of the clan. He’s selfless and dedicated, but he focuses so much on his job that he doesn’t really have much of a personality.

Rumor has it that if you look up at Onyx's wings, you'll see a star map of the northern hemisphere complete with Polaris the North Star and Ursa Major. His opal resembles the clouds of dust and gas where new stars are forming only visible in the infrared. Sadly these are little more than rumors with any resemblance being purely coincidental. At least, that's what Onyx claims anyway. thanks Starmap
