Horologium is a strange dragon, though his personality is quite common among those of his breed—quiet, solemn, and distant. Horologium is quite the dragon to behold. Stepping forward into the disorienting prescence of the massive, runed wyrm can make even the most fearless dragons think twice before opening their maws to speak. Though intimidating, he is not to be feared, and most that have come to join The Flightless have found Horologium to be a quasi-parental figure in their lives. His origins are just as secretive as his personal motives, and very few dragons in his company know about his once-scholarly past. Now, he is the philosphocial leader of The Flightless, a band of dragons that have broken their elemental shackles for a life free from the mainstream of dragon society. Horologium and his followers are considered heretics by most of Dragonkind for their less-than-godly take on the Eleven, and now find refuge within the Arcane lands, where they are given freedom to do as they please so long as the Arcanist is allowed to send his scholars to their lair for yearly inspections.
