Biography
The guardian of a cursed forest. He sits there for so long that roses have begun growing over him. He's typically tangled in the roses. The plants listen to him. Try not to argue.
He was told as a child that he was supposed to protect the forest. He never really thinks for himself and doesn't know much, just that he cannot leave his spot outside the forest. If someone were to take his crystal he would most certainly die, as that's the only thing keeping him alive at this point. He's been sitting at the forest for about forty years. He's scared a few dragons off in the time but since the forest is already rumored to be cursed so he doesn't have to yell at too many dragons.
If someone were to kindly go up to him he may be hesitant to scare them off, as he's awfully lonely. But if they try to convince him to let them go into the forest, he will refuse to allow it, warning them that there are terrible things in there. But if they were just there for conversation he'd happily talk about all the snails he's seen go by. And complain how a new rose vine is digging into his arm or leg or wing.
