atrasia's ambition and passion for new things has always been a focal point of his personality, almost as much as his pride; and his unique ability to use and soak knowledge up like a sponge constantly satisfied both. whatever comes to mind - atrasia knows it, and he will make you feel bad for not reading about it earlier than he did.

To say that Atrasia is charismatic is to say nothing at all. Wherever he goes, he is welcome - his silver tongue always grants him a free room and a hot meal. Appearing approachable and friendly, this dragon always has a patient smile on his face.
His eyes betray his true feelings, however - they are the window to the soul, after all. Underneath his sociable and chatty shell hides a cold, calculating, cunning individual who revels in others’ pain. Every second spent laughing with somebody is a second spent thinking of every way he could possibly exploit this momentarily weakness they have shown him. The company of other dragons, in truth, makes him nauseous.
He is a bully, a stalker and a nasty person at his best. The only way for him to feel happy and good about himself is to see the people he hates, - that is, everybody - depressed, paranoid and angry to the point of shouting. Atrasia loves being called names, because it proves that he is better. It proves he is what his curse is.
There is very little you can do without Atrasia hearing about it, either in passing or from you. He is your friend, after all, is he not? You can more than trust him with your secrets. He keeps them safe and sound in the privacy of his journal, marked with the first letters of your full name, hidden in a compartment in his desk - the same place where he keeps everybody’s secrets.
You’re a thing for him to study. Your life is like an ant farm for him - so endlessly entertaining. He probes you with various questions, scenarios and gifts and watches your reaction; he stalks you and memorises every step of your day - you’re having trouble with something? How fortunate it is that he just happened to be passing by!
What an interesting coincidence, he says as he lends you an ear, pats you on the back, pays for you. All the while thinking of how he will revel in pain and your hate for him in the future.
When he inevitably gains your trust, - whether it takes days or years matters not to him, - your book of secrets opens, inescapably so, once more. This time, however, he intends to poison your life rather than his own.
And when you find out and tell him about it, tensely, painfully; you talk and you talk until you look at him and realize he is holding back genuine laughter.

galenus is one of the unfortunate folk atrasia has crossed - although atrasia is the unfortunate one in this situation. his own shenanigans have lead to a self-proclaimed god pursuing him for revenge. atrasia, very obviously, is not thrilled by the fact.
Nox
a living shadow
atrasia tolerates him for knowledge-related reasons: he has never seen a dragon like nox before and therefore he must learn anything there is to know about him. even though nox displays familial affection to atrasia, the latter one is not swayed and manipulates the shade to do his bidding, which nox does with no questions asked. atrasia claims he does not like nox, but he likes the relationship they have.

him and atrasia have a temperate relationship where neither of them lets the other one too close, all while trying to get the other one to talk more about himself. atrasia is aware gin is trying to get his claws on nox, but he doesn't let him get too close to the shade, both out of an unfamiliar friendliness towards nox and a burning hatred towards gin.
