Well, easy: Someone´s gotta show those hillbillies, right? There needs to be a way to improve what they have by the mechanically engineered solutions only Lightning can offer. Computers. Mechanical limbs. Machines. Cooking apps. Planting reminders. Personalized training programs. Anything. Really, anything...
It´s been weeks since she got asigned here. The only dragon of her flight. Not one intelligent conversation in what feels like forever. Not mentioning having to eat raw or fire-cooked plants and insects, not the synthetically improved, nutrition-optimized proper food she´s used from home...
The whole place is so...gross. Greenery everywhere. Lazy dragons, dozing away half the day, while others seem to be burried in work. Flux doesn´t understand it. As the only one of her people, nobody can explain what´s going on here. She understood that, as the first, it would be up to her to make the voice of lightning heard... but whenever she tries to explain about the benefits of a power reactor and electromagic, computers and food processors and... well, everything civilisation has to offer, she gets cut off. Nobody wants to listen. But still, she endures. Boss has assigned her this duty. She will not fail on her first mission.
