Decommissioned information transmitting Sentient from the Observatory, Cassini now rests in Ultima Thule after its' projected consciousness merged with the ambient magicks of the world that it was sent to study. Host soul (which self-identifies as Thales), expressed in transmission a deep love for knowledge and an even greater love for the planet it had been sent to study, communicating with the mission directors at the Observatory that instead of traditional decommissioning, it desired to become one with the planet it so loved, stating "At journey's end, I would long for no other embrace than that of the storm, and its' beautiful, shifting abyss.", and after fulfilling its' mission and being purged of its' command modules, expressed great gratitude to "...be one with [it's] own mind again..." and that it harbored no ill will towards its' creators. Though it sleeps now frozen into pack ice, it's carapace a home for smaller creatures, some say that its' dormant soul still stirs.
