Lightning, in moderation, is necessary for nature to thrive, but that's not why Celestine decided to become a druid. She defected from the lightning flight when she was of age to begin working for the Stormcatcher. Not only was he strict and unpleasant, but the desert that was their territory was created due to him. There is rarely any actual rain, so little can grow in the area. The digging and engineering caused by the other lightning dragons without a care for the wildlife in the area upset her greatly, and she left without looking back. Now, all she wants to do is protect nature and wildlife. While she knows that not all lightning dragons are the same as the ones she knew, she is still wary and even fearful of other lightning dragons. She doesn't even wish to step foot in the Shifting Expanse ever again and doesn't want to see the Stormcatcher in person. While most dragons would just tell her to get over her fear, her mate understands her and comforts her.
Within the Order, Celestine enjoys gathering the food eaten by the plant-eaters. She doesn't have the heart to hunt creatures, even if she understands the circle of life and the importance of maintaining the populations so they don't grow out of control. Instead, she'll scour the lands - within reason - and pick certain edible plants and fruits to bring home for the food stores. She's much more content with living a more peaceful life and leaving the fighting for those who enjoy it.
She'll defend herself with a flurry of lightning strikes if she or someone she cares for is threatened, but she would much rather avoid the situation entirely.
While out gathering food, Celestine tends to pick up little things for herself like Wrinkled Azurescales, Red Maple Leaves, Florist's Satchels, Sunbeam Rotalas, and Faded Blue Fabrics.

Celestine grew closer to Kalecgos when he was actually interested in her story and didn't think she was overreacting or silly about it. His kindness was quick to work its way into her heart, and she found herself with a crush on the skydancer.
