CRISTON Gathering at the entrance of on of the Clan caves, The hatch-lings sneaked inwards a little, only the were quickly startled by a giant POOF! and BOOM!.. They all squealed and rushed away with a fright and soon to follow behind them was a fire wing coloured fae, Coughing up his lungs a little as he waved his wings to rid the smoke brewing from his cave. "too much Noxious Caterpillar. Far too much" He choked as he beat away the last of the smoke before entering in to his cave to try his potions again. You see this particular clan member was in fact the Clan's Alchemist. A fae named Criston, he had a lot of knowledge and many spell books. He was a quiet sort, Keeping himself to himself and only every really spoke to anyone if they needed his help. Except for weekends that was. You see while most of the clan would head out on a weekend hunt and forage, Criston would be busying himself in his cave and mixing up various concoctions in his brew pot. If he wasn't in his cave furthering his knowledge of Alchemy then he would be found at the training ground advancing his spy and combative skills. For any who wished to further their own techniques though, he would aid them in Alchemy lessons. However he had a strict 'Adults Only' policy. Alchemy wasn't something he thought Hatch-lings and juveniles should learn, at least not till an older and more responsible age. "Alchemy can be very dangerous sometimes and is most certainly not a toy!" He reminded this phrase to anyone who sought his help and reminded them of it every single time. However, being mischievous in their own ways, all the young ones would gather at the edge of his cave from time to time, a bit like today, in the hope of sneaking a peek or even just to spy on him to watch he mix all the pretty colors together to see what would happen. Of course if her mixing went sideways, also like today, then the young ones would scarper in fear. There was of course another side to this swift fae. On quite a few occasions the Clan leader had called upon him for his aid, not in Alchemy, but in fact for her Undercover Techniques. He was also one of the Clan's Spies and a damn good one he was too! His small size allowed him to be agile or concealed very easily, his wing shape allowed speed and swiftness and his dark colouring disguise allowed him to easily blend into his surroundings. The most recent job he was issued was to head out to the Clan border to spy on a wandering clan who grew too close. but there was no harm as they were just passing. This was only a few days ago and while he awaited another mission order from his Leader, he studied hard and quietly within his cave, teetering and tottering with all the many ingredients and potions of his Alchemy Lab.
