B I O G R A P H Y

Lucian was born to parents struggling with their past, and because of this, he grew apart from them. Both had powers they were not born with, but instead had forced upon them, and while some of his siblings inherited these powers, he did not. Instead, Lucian was born with an enormous force of magic within him, and his parents appealed for him to be trained under those who had a better grasp of magical power than they.

He could have studied under the Bone Priest, Rehbein, but instead, he was given to the witch Mahli. At first, Lucian doubted Mahli’s power. She is tall, yes, but dangerously thin and sickly, too. He also doubted whether she would be able to train him. He knew Mahli had a high position, sure, but she had less magical potential then he.

MMahli did not take kindly to his doubts, and promptly showed him just why she would be the teacher, and he the student. Even after all their time studying together, Mahli still believes his arrogance and shortsightedness are his greatest downfalls.

Though Lucian is without a doubt arrogant, he also greatly craves attention and deeply yearns to be the center of attention, like he could never be in his own family.
