B I O G R A P H Y

It remains unknown how her unhatched egg ended up in the Gladeveins. Some have speculated her mother fled the territories of Light and lost her child along the way. Others have suggested that the egg was swept up during a violent storm, dropped off the edge of the Mirrorlight Promenade, and was carried away by the currents to the domain of Nature.

All that is known is that somehow, her egg ended up in the waterfalls of the Gladeveins. There, it got infused with the powerful forces of Nature, altering the baby’s traits and forever changing her fate. When she hatched, the sun was setting and the world around her basked in a soft orange glow. There was no one around and, except for the chirping birds and singing frogs, the riverbank where her egg had stranded was silent. Her cries for a parent remained unanswered and she spent her first night alone, curled up with her pearl amidst the high grasses and flowers growing near the stream.

The next days, she wandered around the area, nibbling on whatever plants and insects she could find. Unable to travel far in her small form, she cloistered herself near the roots of a nearby tree, afraid to leave its shelter. It wasn’t until she had grown bigger and stronger that she dared go near the rushing waters of the nearby river, and she caught her first glimpse of her reflection. From the waters, a pale face surrounded by equally fair manes stared back at her. The right eye a bright green colour, much like the lush greenery around her. The left eye a soft yellow, resembling the sunlight that broke through the canopy above her. Green and golden runes shimmered on her pale skin, while the first signs of the plants growing on her hide already showed themselves.

B I O G R A P H Y

The unusual child of Light and Nature had trouble finding a place where she felt comfortable. She often hid from other dragons she encountered by hiding in the fog that covered the fields or the low-hanging clouds covering the treetops. Those who encountered her quickly gave her the nickname ‘Cloudjumper’, a name which she eventually adopted as she had not been given one at birth.
It wasn’t until she met her mate Mistwalker that she could finally find peace in her mixed heritage and learn more about the domain she originated from. Together in their isolation from the world, they found solace in the domain of Nature and set out to create a home. Not just for themselves, but for any dragon that didn’t quite fit in or had been shunned from their birthplace.

As she grew more mature, she found her place as Matriarch of the Clan she had founded. Finally in tune with the life-giving properties of Light and the overwhelming powers of Nature, she dedicates her life to caring for her adopted family and clan members. Secure in her own powers and healing skills, she fights for a safe haven for all those who desperately need a place to live. She has a keen interest in the healing properties of the world around her and can often be found studying the plants and flowers of the area.
