A former pupil of Master Bushido, when Luxor finished her training and gained the honoured title of Samurai, she left the valley in The Reedcleft Ascent and went in search of another teacher. Eager to learn another set of skills, the light dragon was interested in magic, and the idea of combining sorcery and martial arts was something that appealed greatly to the her. Luxor did not enjoy using weapons in combat, and had chosen not to take her katana or her quiver when she left The Windswept Plateau.

The determined female sought out the names of sorcerers who might aid her, and eventually found herself at The LostSparks lair. Luxor was invited in to speak with Silvermist, leader of the clan's resident coven. The attentive witch listened to the imperial's impassioned desire to learn magic and combine it with her combative moves. This unusual request was discussed among the coven, and their curiosity was piqued, impressed by Luxor's eagerness to try something new and unheard of.

Upon joining the clan, Luxor became a rapt apprentice, though she found that being a pupil again was frustrating, and was overly critical of herself when she did not get things right the first time around. However, she remembered her lessons with Master Bushido and channeled her enthusiasm positively, finding peace within herself and letting go of her impatience and distraction. Over time, Luxor used the strength and form of a samurai with the art and knowledge of a mage, and developed her own unique combat spells and techniques.

Now a powerful and respected warrior-mage, Luxor serves under the clan's Captain of the Guard, defending their territory and seeking riches and rewards in the Coliseum. Her former Master is very proud of the imperial's achievements, and often visits The LostSparks with his current pupil, Kaeru. The bond that has formed between them all will serve them well in the future, as allies in war, and in friendship.
