tumblr_o42ja4Mqvi1uwcn9no2_100.png 		Dahlia is a cold, malicious pearlcatcher. Her pearl is small, cracked, and jet black. Her stoic, emotionless nature strikes fear into the hearts of many. She can tear a dragon apart without any indication of remorse-- or of any emotion, really. Cult members are at her beck and call, obeying orders without second thought. Her icy eyes are said to look right through you, into the pit of your soul.

Dahlia is rumoured to have been born of the Shade itself, coming out of her egg with it running through her veins. She has no family to speak of, no past, only a vessel for the Shade. Dahlia embraced this dark intruder, gaining more control over it and being able to use it as her own weapon. The Shade is stronger than any magic of Sornieth, ripping through any living creature it can. Dahlia can summon it from her body and target anyone, and unprepared opponents have no chance of surviving such an ordeal.

There are rare findings of creatures who naturally repel Shade, and Dahlia's main goal is to rid of those before they spread. She and Macaria track down these beings, and assassinate them by their own claw. The cult's recruits grow in numbers, embracing the dark magics and targeting anyone their leaders order them to.
