Alhera

Alhera is a quiet, calm dragon, very much the inheritor of the regal Imperial stereotype. She never appears flustered or uncomfortable, no matter the situation. Upon once being face to face with a Bearded Yeti, clan rumor has it that she calmly reached out and flicked it in the nose with a claw, causing it to run screaming back into the wilds where it would be no threat to the clan.

Few of her clanmates are aware of her true talents. She is a geomancer, “one who speaks to the earth.” She can conjure elementals, ask questions of earth spirits, and in extreme cases bend the very mountains to her will. Her soul is so strongly bound with magic of the earth that she was once told by a spirit that she would be reborn as an earth elemental. She finds this belief strangely comforting, and it contributes to her calm demeanor.

She spends the majority of her time in her cave chamber, which is a hollowed-out cave barely large enough for her to stand up. Her connection with the earth has left her with one significant foible: she is terrified of flying, as she has an intense dislike for not having a physical connection with the earth around her. Unlike most Imperials, who soar for great distances near-effortlessly, her wings have atrophied to the point that she can barely lift off the ground. She doesn’t mind, though, as she can conjure waves of earth to carry her to her destination.

When called upon, she is a fierce defender of the clan and its territory. The truth is that battle does not anger her, it simply enrages her that Beastclan would dare encroach upon her clan’s land. Gigantic spikes of earth driving up from the ground, golems pummeling through Beastclan, and even the occasional rock lobbed in the air at the odd Harpy or Tengu are common sights in the battles surrounding her clan’s lair.
