Jade
Bio by the amazing ifawn
Any clan needed it's support columns; without one, the rest would be too much for them to bear the heavy weight and crumple. In this figurative speech, Jade is one of those columns. He is a figure of calm and wisdom, whilst still having enough of his own strict demeanor to keep others in check when he feels their own motives would hurt them in the end. This behavior may make some sour towards the Imperial, but he does not mind; as long as his clan mates stay safe.
Although born to light heritage, Jade did not find his calling in the philosophical route that many before him had taken. Although he did not completely reject the idea of following this path, he still spent many a night gathering what knowledge he could from the vast scrolls and tablets that lay in and around the alight territory of the Lightweaver. This knowledge was not only not enough for him, but it also spurred an abrupt wander lust in the young Imperial as well that he could not ignore.
Once his adulthood gave him freedom, he bid a farewell and instead set out on a journey of informational solitude. He traversed from territory to territory in peace, in the search of knowledge and wisdom; but also in this wisdom it gave him a new perspective on many things. His encounters with clans and their own treasures slowly taught him to not only read in an older text, but also communicate with clans whose tongue was differentiating that his own. He took this practice to heart, and surely enough took it on as his own profession whom he is rather proud of.
It was along his journey that it brought him to behold not only the ice ridden cradle of the Icewarden's domain, but also to behold an ice dragon named Aya. Jade would be lying rather horribly if he said he was not both smitten and amazed by Aya and her homeland. It was here he spent a longer, particular time; both learning of the land of ice but also of Aya herself. When time came that his need for knowledge was once again puling at him. he had bashfully requested that Aya accompany him - which she agreed.
Their time together flourished a companionship; Jade teaching Aya what he had learned of his translations and helping her to also understand these as so she could break any communication barriers - but it also flourished an affection. It was of no surprise when the a pair of Imperial settled into a clan in the Gladekeeper's domain, finding both the beauty of the plant life settling and welcoming, and of even no greater surprise when the two became mates. It is now in this clan that Jade has taken the role of translator to help their clan grow, with Aya loyally at his side.
