Almost since birth. - Rauru was worried that Ganondorf, and his agents, would seek out and kill his son. - As, like... Caribou is the very first prince of Hyrule :'D ! - Obvs, like canon... Ganondorf killed his mother, Sonia. - When Zelda was sent to the past by the Secret Stone, Caribou was already a few years old... But I don't think that she ever saw him?? - Rauru talked to her about his son, but was like "nah he's not here rn" (paraphrased) ooor something... - Caribou has Time Powers (he, magically-speaking, got his core powers mostly from Sonia, rather than Rauru... Go figure, lol :'D)! - He was sent to Present Hyrule Times, in a last ditch effort to save him from Ganondorf... - Gotta figure this timeline out?? - He is brown and auburn in colour; looks very similar to Rauru (in physique). - His ears a bit smaller tho (more akin to his aunt Mineru's, rather than Rauru's), and as he grow older... His brown-range fur will fade to have white parts? I guess?? - His jaw and mane will also become entirely white :'33 - He has light blue claws, as well as them light blue beans :'33c - Or well... The underside of his hands / his palms are light blue?? - Which makes sense :'P Due to the "hand" theme, in TotK. That's where his powers concentrate :'33 - He was about 8 years old (in human years), when he was sent to the Present Times. - Imagine the shock when people see him :'D Considering that Caribou is quuiiite young, they don't understand that they have to hide... Or well, that they have to stay quiet and under, for some time? - They become a companion to Link; since Link meets Rauru at the very beginning of the game (or well, his ghost... But y'know :'P lol), and they'll support the Hero in destroying Ganondorf... - Etc. etc. - This is a timeline where Rauru has a son and tells Link about it... And it's written in the stars (metaphorically speaking) that the "past prince" of Hyrule will help Link / the Hero :'D Yay! - I think that Caribou can emit light blue flames, whiiich are purifying in nature?? But juuust a tiny bit. That Light power is not as developed in them, as it was in Rauru (their father). - Like, those purifying flames are mostly used to protect himself or his allies, from evil attacks. And again, they aren't big; he can only cover a small physical surface with those flames. - Aka, they can "repel" weaker evil attacks, but they would never (ever) be able to heal Link's right arm, or destroy Gloom stuff :'00 But as Caribou grows older, his powers will also become stronger... He COULD technically do those things, when he gets old enough! - Caribou, upon reaching teenagehood and then adulthood (as a Zonai, so... Whatev age that gives in human years) will grow "curled" antlers... It's hard to explain :'P They look a biiit like FR Gaolers' antlers, just smaller and a bit more "lean" in design?? Gotta draw a headshot of how he appears in my head! - He will also "shed" them, every couple of moons?? Or maybe every "year" that passes in Zonai age?? Whatev that means... And then then grow back, a bit bigger, with velvet :'D OMg. - He will become the ruler of Hyrule, after the TotK stuff? Technically?? 'Cause like, Zelda doesn't want to rule (she's obvs the princess of Hyrule by blood, but she doesn't find happiness in that position... And like, she wants to do research and go around the world a whooole bunch, as well as have a general freedom in what she does); but like, I feel that Caribou and Zelda will work hand in hand, to bring peace and quiet times in Hyrule. - Etc. etc. - His pronouns are he / him, and they / them?? For no particular reason :'P He identifies as a guy, because he is biologically one... But at the same time, he is from a very old / almost mystical race of living beings (the Zonai), whose ancestors fell from the sky, to the earth below... So like, what is gender?? - Caribou has no Time (lol) for such questions. He doesn't comprehend that stuff, so his main pronoun is he / him... But I guess they / them is nice too :'33c - He's like, gender-apathetic?? That's the best way I can describe it :'33c - He is aaalso... Very, veeery gay :'D Miiight get a crush on Link, like... Later on?? - I can't tell yet :'00 lol - But at first, Caribou appears to be... Ill-tempered? Spoiled?? I mean, they ARE from a rare and powerful race that lit. came from the Heavens, and he WAS the prince of Hyrule, technically... So, he has the attitude that goes along with those characteristics. - Aka, he's mostly full of himself, a bit bratty (or well, smug)... Not very likeable :'D At first! - But!! He will learn friendship, compassion, and kindness! Thanks to Link :'D And he will learn, from Zelda, that yes! You can indeed sacrifice yourself for your loved ones :'33 - I need to draw him!! - - insert |
