Biography
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
"Do not tempt the blizzard." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ The only thing she remembered last was being covered with heaps of heavy snow, the unrelenting cold biting her on every side. Then, she had blacked out completely. When Verdana awoke from her slumber, instead of feeling the bitter cold on her body, she felt the otherwise. She felt warm, something she hadn't felt in ages since the day she was thrown out of her previous Clan to die. She had wandered aimlessly around the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and somehow had managed to wander all the way to the Southern Icefield. There, she had accidentally fallen into an unsuspecting avalanche, where she tumbled endlessly down the wintry mountains. Her eyes opened slowly, blinking and adjusting to the low light of her environment. Fire crackled by the side, licking up the pine wood that a large cyan Guardian female was throwing in every few minutes from a pile next to her chair. Verdana attempted to push herself up from her bed, but she fell down weakly. Her arms were too shaky to carry her weight. The Guardian was alerted to the noise and immediately stood up from her chair, walking towards Verdana with a concerned look in her lightning blue eyes. "You're awake... thank Shadowbinder," The Guardian murmured, a sigh of relief escaping her lips. Her voice was soothing, calming, and even motherly. Verdana gazed up at the dragon, confusion muddled in her orbs. "Where am I?.." Her voice trailed off as she took some time to examine her surroundings. The Guardian smiled warmly at her, wrapping a flair scarf around Verdana's serpentine neck. "You're in the care room of Clan Shadevine," She said, gesturing with a talon at a purple pinecone emblem which hung right above the fireplace, glinting softly in the glowing light. Below it was a few words written in black, 'Rest Well, Hunt Well'. With the help of the Guardian, she managed to sit upright. "Oh and, how rude! Let me introduce myself," The Guardian chuckled softly. "I'm Kessla, the leader of this Clan." "O-oh, uh, I'm Verdana... I got kicked out from mine," Verdana frowned and averted Kessla's kind gaze. "I don't know where I should go." "You can stay with us! We always have room for another dragon in need," Kessla whipped out a clipboard with two pieces of paper clipped to it. She flipped to the second page and tapped it with her talon gingerly, showing it to the Imperial. It was a blank space, amongst the other boxes which were filled with many names she didn't see before. "We'll cover everything for you, as long as you can contribute to the Clan." "I-I think I can. I was a forecaster and a mage back then," Verdana's eyes sparkled. Kessla tilted her head in slight confusion. "Forecaster?" She asked. "I'm able to predict the weather accurately," Verdana blinked, somewhat surprised that the Guardian didn't know about the important role of forecasters. "That's good, then! For now, just rest. We'll prepare a room for you, and once you're healed, you can show us what you can do. From there, we'll make sure that you live a happy life amongst us all," Kessla grinned cheerfully. Verdana thanked the leader and flopped back onto her bed as she lumbered out of the room to get her clanmates, thinking about her future. Gradually, a smile graced her thin lips.
