Mystical is an alchemy master, but he also managed to become a sword master. This weird combination works amazing for him. Well, sort of, if you can look past the fact that he's a bit clumsy when it comes to fighting. He's never sure if it would be better to use some potions first or if he should strike first - and his indecision keeps him at an average fighting level. (If he was ever sure about his actions, he would have been the best fighter ever. But nobody's perfect)
So.. Mystical is calm, indecisive dragon. Whenever there's a possibility for any fight, he tries to talk it out, so nobody will have to fight or harm others. But when there's no way out, he fights with enthusiasm, yet with a bit of doubt. He'll never give up, he'll fight to the end.
Also, Mystical is curious, and his curiosity is out of this world. Even though thanks to this bad behaviour he was never able to meet his parents, he won't stop being curious. If he wasn't - he wouldn't have started practicing alchemy and he wouldn't be where he is now.

Also, Mystical is a terrible father and he hates himself for it. He had two hatchlings with a female he didn't love, and it all went the bad way, one of his daughters was exalted without him knowing, he didn't even have a chance to name her.
But he saved the other one and he's trying to prove himself he's not that bad at all. He loves his daughter, Esquevelle, no matter what.

Unfortunately, his other daughter, Esquevelle, was exalted as well, due to her terrible manners in the flight. He had no way of saving her, and now a deep sorrow fills his whole heart. He will never be freed from the pain and he's bound to suffer for eternity. He has no other choice. Even if he'd love to give up and die, even if he'd love to finally get away from the terrible life he's earned himself, he can't. He know that this form is the punishment he's gotten for being such a terrible father, and a terrible dragon in general. He's bound to travel and wander around for eternities, suffering alone.
