______ Krahsosaal was born to a loving set of parents in a powerful Arcane Clan. Their members were fluent in the ways of magic. They artfully manipulate the universe around them. It bends to their will. Krahsosaal, even in his youth, was quick to pick up on their ways. He soon had a mastery of the Arcane that equaled his own mentor, perhaps even surpassed it. This left him with a thirst for knowledge so great that he set out from his homeland in search of answers.

______ At the edge of his homeland lied a beautiful expanse of ocean. His head swirled with fantasies of what lied beneath its surface. His name originated, in part, from his love of those frigid waters. “Krah” translates to “cold” in the ancient language of his ancestors. Much of this language was lost to time so it was the most fitting word his parents could find for his love of that water. “Sosaal” translates to blood, the color of his scales and that which he will always be to his parents – of their blood. He knew that this great, unexplored territory which he loved called to him.
The young male used his proficiency in the Arcane arts to delve deep into these waters and make them habitable. Time flew by as Krahsosaal explored and documented the mysteries of the depths. Years seemed like the blink of an eye.

______ Krahsosaal spent so long in the abyss charting its wonders that his body had begun to adapt to the immense pressure. His wings became thin and translucent, sparkling with the bioluminescent light typical of the depths. They provided him with a source of light able to reflect the sun’s light even this far below the surface. The wings also had become lighter and more hydrodynamic, enabling him to glide more effortlessly long the ocean floor. The glimmer on his belly slowly eroded away to expose his naturally colored stomach. Instead, the pressure crystallized some scales on his body to create a thicker armor of precious gems.
