Biography

If Florent is the beloved King, then Hades is the hated degenerate. Not that his profession is bad, or that he is poor. In fact he's quite wealthy, and those who he works with are immensely grateful.
He helps those who want to serve the deities on their quests to become exalted, and the kingdom as a whole despises him for it.
Their mindset is that of serving yourself and the people, if you want to serve, then you can serve your country. They frown on those who wish for a higher purpose.
Hades does not. He helps them however they need, and when they are ready he escorts them to their final destination.
His kindness and benevolence to the outcast has earned him an immensely loyal group of followers who call him, "The Dark King". And from that group emerged his beloved, Persephone.
