Biography
Born as Cronus, he is the type of dragon that has a difficult time with expression his emotions and is usually believed to have a cold heart made of stone. Many believes that he is cold and does not have a heart, though those who are close to him know better. Though it is very rare - and viewed by some as impossible - for him to allow people into his life and care for them, once he does he is very protective of them. He does not always like befriending other due to his struggle with emotions and doesn't allows pick up on others' emotions - which can lead to him accidentally hurt their feelings. Despite being oblivious to many things concerning other living creatures, he is considered smart and tends to know many things about nature and the world.
As a young dragon, Cronus was not much different than he is now a days. He tended to avoid others and was focused more on work than play. Though this is not too strange for a Guardian, since their whole purpose is to someday find their Charge. When he was not training himself to fight (in order to protect his future Charge), he was reading. Cronus is a secret nerd who loves reading and is near obsessed with stories centered around a fantasy placed called Greek and he loved their stories, Gods, and simply loves the names. Though due to only reading at night and training during the day, nobody caught onto his secret nerd side, which he still has to this day.
When Cronus had reached adulthood, he - like all other Guardians - set out on "the Journey" in search of his Charge - the thing he would protect for the rest of his life. He was nervous due to his emotional detachment to near everything and had doubts that he would be able to find his Charge. After stumbling into a small lair in the Shadow territory, he came across a female Guardian dragon named Locus. Cronus quickly felt different towards her than he did towards other, and in confusing to this feeling he decided to stick around for a bit and put "The Journey" om hold for a few days. In took some time, but he eventually realized that she was his Charge. After protecting her endlessly for the following months, Locus came to understand and even know the closed-off male. She realized that he would not be the one to make the first move, so after a year of first meeting she proposed becoming his mate. Embarrassed by her feelings towards him, as well as his own feelings towards her, he awkwardly accepted.
After the two became mates, Locrus was a bit awkward to bring up having children someday. She was hesitant in fears of making him flee with a sudden family. Locrus also had not found her own charge yet, and she did not want to have children when she felt the constant urge to go out searching for her Charge. Though one day while walking through the forest around their little clearing, she stumbled upon a small Dragon hatching that was not from the Shadow flight. Unsure how to get him back to his own territory, she brought him to Cronus. When her mate was not certain about the hatching and wanted to leave him by the border, Locrus became very protective of the child. It scared her how powerful the protectiveness felt... until she realized that she had found her Charge. Upon telling Cronus that the hatching was her Charge, he conceeded and they adopted the lost dragon, naming him Zinnaerris (whom Cronus now had come to love).
After some time, Locrus and Cronus decided to have some children of their own. They had three children - Alaurun, Losi, and Eli (whom Cronus had let Locrus name them all). Cronus also decided to change his name to Alcaeus due to his secret fondness of Greek names. He was surprising happy to see his new children, though he did not treat Zinnaerrs any less of his child then his biological ones (possibly even favoring the eldest). Alaurun seemed to take after him in the ways of her fondness for reading, especially about lands such as Greece or Rome, causing her and her father to bond more than her sister did with him. Despite being closest to Zinnaerris and Alaurun, Alcaeus was greatly saddened when Losi and Eli were exalt together, though he tried to push down these emotions. During this time, he and Lorucs had two more children - Coeus and Hesperus (whom Alcaeus named this time). Alcaeus decided to focus more on raising the two youngest than crying over Losi and Eli, who he knew were fine.
