Biography

Everglade

  • Travelling salesman (and scam artist)
  • Sells (supposedly) magic trinkets
  • Constantly smiling
  • Finds other dragon's anger deeply amusing
  • "Well, don't I have a deal for you!" *Steals wallet*

Teardrop Citrine Necklace

It was just about reaching his 1st year anniversary of turning away from his clan and pursuing his life of 'scavengery,' when he found himself in a little nook of a light clan. Despite being so secluded, it was well managed and strong. The mirror is still baffled to this day why the "oh I'm an injured dragon!" card actually worked, but it did.

After the clan took him in, Everglade scoped around at night for some valuables. The clan, oddly enough, had a weird fascination with moths, honey, and dreams. From random trinkets, full-on statues, and midnight chanting; the place seemed more and more sinister as the Mirror stayed. Everglade needed to quickly steal something, and get out.

After a few days he found an old dingy nest. It was used, but considering it's state, he figured anything stolen there would just be considered lost to the owner. The owner though, unbeknownst to Evergade, was actually the clans' priest, and that small gold necklace stolen, was sacred.

It wasn't long after he returned to his wingery when the guards burst into his room, spears and claws drawn. Everglade, the young idiot he was, was inspecting the stolen item at the time too. After letting out a manly squawk of fear, he threw whatever was close to him at the guards and flailed out of the window.

That was his first experience with a cult, and his first ever wanted poster.

Gold looks good on him.

Golden Hoard

Every dragon needs a hoard, alright? And while Everglade's coins and gems may have some dried blood on it, that makes them more valuable!

If you look closely into the pile you'll see part of it is divided, half the tresure belonging to Everglades daughter.

Teardrop Ruby Wing Loop

The Shifting Expanse, despite it's climate and weather, has a vast network of black markets and trade. It was there, during a massive swap meet, did the wing loop catch Everglades eye, and was subsequently caught by Everglades claws. The owner wasn't looking (as if he couldn't see past the fast moving crowd anyway), so the small theft wasn't even a sweat.

But what happened after this theft, would stay with Everglade forever - a little parasite by the name of Marsi.

Simple Darksteel Bracelets

Stealing and scamming may put food on the table for others, but for this Mirror, it's just down-right fun. Nothing gets the adrenalin going more than being pursued by a good ol' 15 heavy-set guardian metal-workers; and boy were they angry! Some prissy skydancer had commissioned a group of blacksmiths for a pair of darksteel bracelets; a rare type of metal that draws the light (and eyes) to it. And Everglade being, well, himself, decided that those bracelets were actually for him, causing a massive scene and uproar when he was caught stealing it. It was the best week Everglade had.
