This Lohiten has learned from many, many hours in the field performing impromptu dissections and getting bit by nasty little mozzies in the dark. It's a wretched job, but it's his.

What's not wretched is his lab. Shared with Vinieran, it's a sleek, white-tiled hall of sample jars and great big things with teeth on sticks. He teases apart tissue and bone to determine the health of amphibians and dinosaurs of the islands dotting the Sea of a Thousand Currents, as ordered by Kilararen.
