The hatchling caretaker is Lullabye, the Matriarch's only child. Pearl feels it helps to keep her daughter balanced and grounded since Lullabye's daydreams are always away with the stars.

She will soon become an older sister.

Lullabye grew up beautifully while her mother spent time away with Endro clan.

I was born here in Star Wood, raised with a knowledge of the Arcane. I have a dilemma - spending too much time in the library and not enough time getting out. Though learning is greatly encouraged, my mother believes I should expand my knowledge of the world, if I'm ever to take her place as Clan Matriarch one day.

Some mornings, the Star Wood is blanketed in mist. Just after dark, silver and blue flowers awaken and glow in the night. It is so very lovely to see from a great distance above. I love to perch on the tallest trees and gaze at the flowers for hours. I wonder how I am connected to these flowers and what they have to tell me. Blinking and twinkling on and off. Are they teaching me lessons on life and death?

One day I am to become Matriarch - if I continue my learning. I hope to live up to the responsibility. My job at present is to look after the dragons visiting our lair, in order to use our nesting grounds. Some feel that their hatchlings will become touched by the Arcane if they do so. I make certain they are comfortable and well-fed. They don't always like our food, so it can be difficult finding something more appealing. It isn't their fault since they come from far-away lands.
