T U L A R E M I A
Captain | Warrior | Young Matriarch
Hail, sweet Plaguedaughter. Child of waste and bone; marked by blood and spirit. May she bring us to the Wyrmwound, and glory eternal, and may she forever prosper in Her filthy name.
And thus began Tularemia's childhood: tiny, sick, and her feet never touching the fleshy ground of the Abiding Boneyard. They worshipped her; of course they did. She was, after all, the chosen one. The new chosen one. The better chosen one. She would bring her clan to the Wyrmwound they'd been chasing for centuries.
But, oh, heavy lies the crown. The moment Tula's wings grew was the moment she realized just how smart she was compared to her family. The Plague magic flowed through her glittering runes with a sickening pulse. And yet, in their love and desire for a leader, they refused to let her lead.
So she just did what the last Chosen One did. She fled.
---
Wind territory lay to the east. It was barely even a jaunt over. From there, it was easy, she tells it: you find a librarian, find a blacksmith, find a ship, steal the ship, wreck another ship, accidentally rob a Cloudsong noble's nest, find some weird Windy mirror, and then you're the most infamous pirate this corner of Sorneith.
It's a big sky, though. There's a lot of pirates. And Tula's getting awful jealous...
