On western edge a cluster of delightfully shimmering leaves catches your eye, their brilliant shade contrasting the backdrop of the dark, hazy shadows of the Tangled Wood. Though not native to this part of Sorneith, it is clear that these bubblegum colored trees have been cultivated and cared for over many years. Their warm brown branches reach towards the sky in futility, aching of a glimpse of sunlight.
As you approach, you realize that it is not the trees themselves that dazzle, rather it is the array of jewels and metals adorned among the branches that gleam by the glow of the fungi; reflecting the blushing hues of the vegetation. Just as you begin to enter the center of this gathering, a flurry of violet swirls up from underneath the roots of one of the trees. "Hello! Oh my my my, hello!!" A Spiral dragon twists herself into a hovering position, nearly nose to nose with you as she moves continuously in a winding motion. "Are you interested in my wares? Please please I do not expect immediate payment, or payment at all!" She exclaims, shoving multitudes of multicolored bracelets and rings into your clawed hands; providing you no opportunity to even respond to the offer. |

Biography

A native inhabitant of the Dusk Sanctum, Oresa was raised unaware of the historical importance of the site or its spiritual meaning. Her family did not particularly care for the Shadowbinder's creation; and they traveled to the far corners of the Starfall Isles, all in search of introducing color to the otherwise drab landscape of their homeland. Together they worked tirelessly to care for multitudes of blossom trees, the garish pink leaves blooming to the dismay of the neighboring clans.
As her parents grew old, eventually it was time for them to seek refuge under the deity they so carelessly disrespected. As Oresa brought them to the steps of the Forum of the Obscured Crescent, a chilling fog enveloped their bodies, and a whisper caressed her ear. "I have not forgiven you....." spoke the wind, moving along the walls of the fallen temple, "Restore that of old, and I will ensure your kin a place by my wing....".
Oresa returned to her lair, only to find that the hundreds of blossom trees her parents tended to had been reduced to a mere dozen, a large gleaming Imperial sending their carcasses into the norther river under the watch of a fluttering Veilspun. They understood the meaning behind this fate as she met Erembour, the words of the Matriarch echoing that of the deity. Together, they work to restore the Dusk Sanctum to it's former glory; ensuring that her family are forgiven under the eyes of the Shadowbinder.
