Biography
Eggs. Dragon's first homes, set to protect them from things that might do them harm. But what happens when that home is damaged? When it can no longer protect the baby forming within? For one special dragon, this very event shaped her future in a way no one had ever expected.
Frog has always been... different than the other dragons around her. Having been forced from her damaged egg early, her mental capacity is slightly slower than normal yet she does not let this hold her back. Growing up, she always managed to keep a smile on her cute face even though the world around her couldn't understand why. 'Your egg was damaged!' they'd cry. 'How can you sit there and smile when you'll never be normal?' Frog didn't understand what they meant. She was normal. Sure, her vocabulary was limited and simple, but who needed words when one could express themselves through actions or facial expressions? She didn't need to tell someone she was a klutz; they could see it in her actions when she often bumped into objects and dragons alike. She didn't need to tell someone that she adored frogs; they could see this whenever she walked about the lair covered in these cute little hoppers with her best friend, Jumper, always riding on her snout. So, when the other dragons would laugh and make fun of her, or even pick on her, she would just smile and give them a great big hug - those poor, poor fae - and continue on her way. But as much as Frog believed she was normal, it was clear she wasn't. This little Bogsneak, bless her heart, had always been a little slow.
One morning, when Frog had just awoken, she began to make her way through the lair. But something was different today... everyone was gone. Frog didn't understand, how could they all have just disappeared? Days went by as she searched the town, never understanding where her clan had gone, when she bumped into a towering dragon. The tall Skydancer looked upon the little dragon who held tears in her eyes as she apologized for bumping into her. Frog merely nodded and continued to search. Khaleesi wondered why the youngling was crying and began to follow her quietly. An hour passed before Frog curled up beneath a tree and sobbed into Jumper's back. Khaleesi's heart was breaking. Thinking for a moment, she laid beside the weeping Bog and nuzzled her nose against her cheek. After a small talk, she realized something. The poor, sweet Bog hadn't realized that she had been abandoned by her clan. Khaleesi grew angry. How could someone do such a thing?
Frog still doesn't understand what happened to her clan as Khaleesi thought it be best to spare the young dragoness the heartbreak. But she now has a true home, nestled right in the center of the Vagabond clan with her best dragon friend - no way she could ever replace Jumper - and savior. Smiles line her face every day as her new family showers her with love, despite the fact that she is and will always be different.
