Personality:
Requiem could best be described as fierce, fearless, poised, calculated. She knows what she's doing and stands strong with it. Her thoughts are strong and she sticks with her opinion strictly with difficulty of it possibly being changed. Requiem finds herself being rather opinionated but it's always well thought out. She never settles on an opinion without thorough researching, but once she's decided, she's practically stuck with it.
As a ruler, she feels obligated to her clan, and takes duties seriously, especially when it comes to matters of war and combat. As a previous warrior, and still taking up the position as one, she takes good care of her warriors and the whole of the military. She does not subject her warriors to heinous activities and knows when to withdraw, she also knows when to stay in the fight despite casualties. Requiem also finds herself expressing fairness and equality among her kingdom, she has this kind heart but an intimidating demeanor that can be off-putting. Despite this kind heart, she also lacks empathy and will kill if she finds it necessary without a hesitation, making her slightly impulsive when it comes to this. But her temper is rather fair than gnarly.
Her intelligence spans beyond the battlefield. Although she's calculated and can predict an enemies movements, she can also bargain with the leader of another kingdom. Requiem will take prisoners without a second thought, and use them as a chip. Blackmailing appears to be a strong tactic Requiem also uses, and gathers information that's dirty on other leaders and high-rankings in a clan, but keeps her information predominantly private. When on the battlefield, she finds her placements to often outweigh the enemy, and is most likely to gain the upper-hand due to her combative knowledge. Her intelligence has been shown time and time again, and she always proves herself worthy of her position as ruler.

History:
Requiem is a warrior as well a ruler, those who forgot that were often reminded in one way or another. One of these times was when her trip to a neighboring centaur camp. They thought they could lead her into a sneak attack. And they did.
But they didn't expect for her to fight back.
She brought Protector as a guard just in case the meeting had gone sour, and while she needed his help- without it she would've gotten overwhelmed by sheer numbers, she could hold her own in a battle as good, if not better then, he could. She slashed and clawed apart the oncoming beastclans, until the remaining ones- the smarter ones, just hung near the edge of the clearing, reluctant to leave or attempt to fight the wildclaw pair.
They should've ran. And the rest, except the unlucky few caught in her talons and fangs, did run.
She gazed at the crimson stained earth, sticky and thick. It stuck her feathers together in clumps and dripped off her usually pristine golden armor. At the moment, she couldn't tell who's blood it was. Protector was in similar shape. He sheathed his sword and gave her a curious look. She noticed this and quickly responded.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"It's just.. You never stopped smiling, even during the battle. It's fairly unnerving." He replied, almost wincing, as if he already regretted saying it aloud.
"I don't see what's the problem." She replied. "I protected my clan, my life, and your life. That's something to be happy about."
