Akela is a rather serious young Skydancer. His frosty demeanor is no doubt due to being Ice-born. Even though he's cold to most, if any dragon is going to melt his heart, it'll be Shanti. They met when he was wandering through the Icefields in search of a clan to call his own. At the outskirts of Icewarden's domain, he found her.
They decided to form a clan together, but after a while of traveling, they found it difficult to sustain themselves and fend off monsters... Akela had to swallow his pride and accept joining an established clan.
He keeps away from most of the dragons in the clan, preferring his cool, shaded cave. He'll come down to dip in the coolwater springs while Shanti swims and splashes, but that's about it.
