"...I'm prone to lying, my dear, just as any other good storyteller should be. I tell the stories of Old, of course, hiding them in between colourfull wraps of air castles and sea temples, of gods and of faes, of good and the bad.
I sing songs of victorious heroes, their risings and their legacies, passed down through time and width of our lands. I sing how the World was born and the first Gods opened their eyes to the glowing sun above them, grounding themselves with inhale of the stardust, that danced in the air in their wake.
I collect fairytails. Joyfull tails, full of hope and morals and happy creatures... and not so joyfull too. From new to half-forgotten, from wide known to the once told in hushed tones and scared whispers.
I'm reciting poems, that were blood-written in the name of flights and elements, praising Fathers and Mothers of us all. Beautiful poems, they are.
But you see, sweetheart, the thing about history is, that it's cruel. Bloody even. Full of betrayal and cowardice, of War and of Death. No one likes to be reminded of them. No one likes to hear them. And that's why, Child, history repets itself, over and over again, simply because no one was listening..."
