BIOGRAPHY
Some might say that being an illusionist was the same as being a magician, but Nyree would beg to differ. Born in the land of Wind, one of the oldest Flights in all of Sorinth, Nyree was encouraged to leave the nest early. It was during her travels that she discovered her true nature. She was infused with magic. It ran through her veins like blood, pulsed in her claws, and touched everything she did. And the young Tundra immediately began to practice her craft, perfecting it. She was able to create images out of nothing, that were as simple to compose as silk, yet entranced others. She was able to scare away Beastclan warriors and larger predators with it, protecting herself from harm. Tundras have a reputation for being dim, but Nyree was not dim. She was just withdrawn, sheltered, almost, so that she knew nothing other than what she had been taught. When she found the Circus of Shadows, she was intrigued by the young ringmistress Zaïre. She could sense that the Skydancer was very powerful, and was probably not aware of howe strong her innate magic was. Nyree, being older, took it upon herself to teach Zaïre about the power of her magic, even though the stubborn youngster would only half-listen at best. But Nyree was patient, and so she could wait. In the meantime, she grew friendly with a similarly-colored Tundra male named Limeon, who, though being from the rather serious-natured Ice Flight, was quite the natural-born entertainer. Though he had no true magical abilities of his own, he was rather good at little tricks. Though Nyree does love him, their relationship seems quite strange. Limeon babbles incessantly to anyone who will listen while Nyree is more reserved. She will occasionally scold Limeon, rolling her eyes at his antics, but they are, nonetheless, a mated pair...if an unlikely one. |

Personality Like most Wind dragons, Nyree is fiercely independent. She refuses any special help from more polite dragons, wanting to do things her way. She also has a low tolerance for play, and will often complain that there is work to be done if things are getting a bit too fun. She takes her craft seriously, and, while she does enjoy it, her reward is an audience with their eyes wide in awe rather than individual praise or learning a new skill. |
