Clan Lore
The Golden Order was started by two mysterious dragons, known only as Father and Mother. These two dragons sought to protect the world from anything that would come to harm it, and believed that even powers that are feared could make a difference. This way of thinking set them apart from their righteous allies, who would never consider using the darkness against itself.
The two of them searched far and wide for the best place to start their new Order, and when they had found it, they had immediately claimed it and Mother laid her eggs to begin the first generation of members.
Their children would not be the only members, of course. While waiting for their hatchlings to hatch from their eggs, Mother had discovered a lost hatchling, and without a single thought otherwise, she brought the child into her nest like one of her own and gave him the name Tirion. The pair treated this hatchling like their own flesh and blood, and encouraged their actual flesh and blood, Deja, Anduin, and Varian, to do the same. The family would grow up and learn together, carrying the same values and teachings as their parents.
While the small group continued to train and grow, Mother and Father began to grow weak. The two dragons were never long for this world, and while they knew that, they were at peace with their fate. Mother passed on first, and Father was going right behind her, but in his final moments, Father appointed the now grown up Tirion as leader, much to the rage and dismay of Deja, who claimed that as the eldest of their parents real children, the role of leader was her birthright.
Father had continued on to explain that Tirion, though adopted, was the eldest, and that his heart was pure.
These days, the Order continues to grow stronger with Tirion at the head, as he brings in more dragons for their cause, and new alliances with other clans so that they can work together to protect the world they love.
