Headmaster Knowledge is Power
Origins - Discovered after a sudden burst of magic energy appeared followed by several natural disasters, Tethe'alla was brought back to the clan along with another young dragon found shortly afterwards. No one really knows how he came to be; it took Tethe'alla quite some time to learn how to speak proper draconic, and even now he still retains the accent of his own, strange, native language. However, he has since created many new spells and inventions that have made the clan's harsh life in the Great Furnace a little bit easier. Whether his creations are common in his own past world, he won't say.
Personality - Tethe'alla can usually be found with his nose buried in a book. When he's not busy reading, he is a patient, but demanding teacher who trains the clan's mages and healers. While strict, he does has a sense of humor and enjoys occasionally messing with his students to teach them some of life's more important lessons. Mate - Sylvarant is perhaps all that remains of Tethe'alla's past. A soft-spoken, gentle dragon, she is the exact opposite of himself. While Tethe'all enjoys tinkering with technology, she prefers to be out in the Verdant Gardens of the Gladekeeper's territory, the clan's previous home. Despite their differences, they get along incredibly well, often whispering in their own mysterious language, perhaps reminiscing about what things used to be. Scholar - A skilled mage, Tethe'alla values knowledge and wisdom above all else. When he isn't teaching, he's almost certainly in the clan's vast library, studying various magic disciplines and conducting experiments. His Snowflake Nymph never strays far from his side; the tome it carries holds all of Tethe'alla's studies, encoded in magic so that no one else can read it. Many of the spells it contains are of his own invention, which his Nymph guards with its life. |
