Darker is... difficult to describe, to say the least.
His behaviors often fit textbook examples of eccentricity and randomness, varying from his extremely exotic diet of expensive familiars served in unusual ways to his habit of racking up huge amounts of money, only to burn it on wasteful possessions. He has a love of rainbows, especially bright ones against pitch-black surroundings. Despite his name and self-endowed title of "Dark Lord," Darker isn't exactly a lord and is a pleasant dragon under his grim appearance. He loves to pamper his guests profusely and often invites them to stay the night. Darker lives in Shade lands (dimension of demons)" |

The chessboard sits on the red table in front of me, and I take my sweet time thinking about my next turn.
This game is a fruitless pastime, but it does entertain me and that is all that matters until the point that I will have enough powers amassed to fulfil my goals. Until then, I have the leisure to engage in activities like this one.
My opponent is not a good player. He is one of the lesser nobles that rule over smaller territories surrounding my domain. I can see that he is nervous, and it doesn’t do him well. His bishop will fall next, and then his king will be in danger.
But even though he doesn’t make for much of a challenge, he is a polite and amicable dragon and I enjoy his company, if only to see him squirm in unease. He does not like my castle very much, that much is obvious. I think I have visited him once or twice in his own estate, where most rooms are gilded marble and there isn’t much colour after all.
Here, however, the afternoon sun falling through the stained-glass windows paints the dull black-and-white of the chessboard with little specks of colour. I move my queen piece and the bishop falls, the field it used to stand on appropriately coloured red by the light. I smile at the observation. My opponent, however, twitches nervously. He has realised now that he will lose this match.
I give him a patronizing smile as I finally move to fell his king. The victory doesn’t taste very sweet because it was all too easy, but I catch myself imagining how my opponent will fall to my forces outside of this little game. Once my army is complete, there will be no need for him and all the other little nobles. I will squash them, and it will be so, so delicious.
I will send a true explosion of colour across these dull lands and it will be the most beautiful chaos this world has ever seen. What game could surpass such a sweet triumph?

Ok, first of all, sorry for picking the first dragon there is, but Darker has a vibe going for him. That creepy grin and black/rainbow combo is good on him, and the apparel reinforces the demonic vibe too! I can;t focus right now too well, but I should definitely read his lore later :0
