Personality:
Merlot was born with the bizarre condition of having his body filled with a highly intoxicating liquid instead of blood. Being around him makes other dragons tipsy and inebriated, while Merlot remains completely unaltered.

This forces Merlot into the rather bizarre situation of being the life of every party despite being a rather deadpan and stoic individual.

He's happy to be included, at least, and is the 'dad' of his friend group - responsible and caring, and making sure everyone else gets home safely.

However, Merlot has discovered the cause of his strange aura of inebriation, with the help of the Nature clan he joined not too long ago: turns out that every time he breathes out, he's exhaling the somewhat magical alcohol that fills his body in the form of vapor. It rapidly intoxicates others, but also rapidly wears off when no longer being breathed with no ill side effects. He's taken to wearing a mask over his face; because of it, he's now able to be around other dragons without getting them drunk, much to his relief!
