Aphelas was never one that was invested in the art of war or politics. He was always interested in the occult, however. He read the tales of the great spirits that came before and found himself intrigued, growing up curious to the world's more obscured powers and phenomenons.

Once he reached adulthood, he struck out on his own and set to researching those occurances, He loves the adventure of being out there by himself, learning about things most other dragons would avoid.

It's this knowledge of the unkown that gives him his edge in dealing with such things however, and combined with his clever tongue he is a hard one to outsmart. Apheras doesn't have many things he treasures besides a small moonstone that was given to him by his mother, to protect from malevolent spirits.

Apheras feels most at home in places most dragons would dread to go. He lives for tales of the unknown, sightings of spirits or reports of paranormal activity. Boundless enthusiasm and curiousity are his trademarks, but these are also the things that get him in trouble the most.
