Silva

Silva is a dark mistress if there ever was one. She is strong and quick, and never hesitates to use her sharp tongue to burn holes in other's confidence. Her only weakness is for her mate-- he's manipulative, clever, and her soulmate. She is a bit brutal and blunt, but Cerim is entirely subtle and full of finesse. She adores the way his mind works, and found herself spirited away by his silver tongue immediately.

She's on thin ice with Aquria, as a hired hitman. Since she never makes her targets known, it's difficult to say if she's a robin hood type or a straight up murderer, but her moral compass within the Clan generally points to robin hood. There's never any proof of her job, but most of the dragons can just... sense what she does. Aquria refuses to punish her unless she sees proof of Silva's wrongs.

She has one secret-- her gembond. She makes it a known fact that she has it and it doesn't affect her at all, that she holds it back just enough for it to give her a physical token of strength. What she doesn't say is she gets into her cave, takes off her armor, then collapses into a hot springs Cerim has prepared for her, full of herbs he got from Fern because otherwise she'd be long dead. Not from the disease-- she does fend it off-- but from the intense and constant pain. She used to be a normal, sweet member of Wind, but then gembond struck. She became bitter and angry, wanting others to hurt as much as she did. She grew as hardened as her natural armor, glaring with icy clarity at any challenge and hoping they don't ask why she's shiny.

Her true colors came out during the Harpy War. She had just had a clutch of eggs when things turned sour. Everyone expected her to want to take up the mantle again and go out to the Harpy Clans looking for blood, but Silva refused. She had children to take care of--so the Clan could trust her to guard their little coral hideout, but she would not stray that far from her babies.

On the day of the Harpy Raid, Silva kept her promise. It rained blood and feathers into the water, and she tore into each diving harpy with a demonic ferocity. She never spoke to the other warriors who fought alongside her that day, but she did repeatedly use her body to block blows meant for Linu.

The Aqurians knew that they should never ask Silva about that day, but from then on, she was quieter. She let Cerim dote on her, and she stopped donning her armor-- when Rooyah came, a surprise daughter, she had a quiet joy about her. Everyone believed it was good for her to bring life into the world, when she had taken so much out.
