This Shadeling broke off from the main body an era ago. Usually Shadelings like this become so unstable they end up dissolving, but this one has found a host body that prevents it from dying. Its body is a machine made to look like a mirror dragon. It was created to help in the FLAMECALLER’S FORGE in areas too dangerous for a normal dragon. The machine was powered by magical fire that will never go out on its own. Now this Shadeling relies on these flames to survive.

The specimen lives in the SHADE HAVEN where they supposedly are a chemist. Why SHADE creatures need a chemist is a mystery. More investigation is necessary. If only a non SHADE creature could figure out how to enter the HAVEN.
