Embers

There are rumors of the existence of strange creatures inside the lava rivers that flow through the domain of the Flamecaller. Such dragons are said to be made of the fire they inhabit and are neither burned nor hurt by touching their homes. Rather, their bodies themselves seem to feed the flames, and in turn to be animated by them.
While new Embers are energetic and lively, as they grow old they grow dull, the life being burnt out of them until at last they return to the ashes they sprang from.

Young Flames are remarkably dangerous, their wills as tempestuous and cruel as that of the fire they are made of. While their aged counterparts lack the energy of their early days, instead giving off a warm, comfortable heat that speaks of safety and kindness, young ones are ruled by their instinct to spread and consume, to bring fire as far as they are able.
For that reason they rarely leave the realm of the Flamecaller until their peak is past.

A Side of the Coin

Pyralis is an interesting beast. As an ember, they are a dragon made of fire and lava, they are a creature that thrives in the dry, bone cracking heat of a fire pit. When they was born she and her twin brother, who was her exact copy, had magic worked on them. As if some gift from the Eleven, she and her brother became one and the same. It was never strange for them to be this way, for they couldn't remember a time when they weren't. Although, for many others, this state was unnerving. Pyralis wasn't shunned actively by those they were born into, but they never fit in, so they began to travel.

The Meeting

You need to stop fidgeting, Py. a feminine voice said in his head, If you keep doing this you're going to make my job much more difficult. You're lucky this clan knows how energetic Embers are when we are young. Or else they might think we're hiding something. she said again.

Forgive me, Pyra. Travelling by flame didn't really help drain my energy... Plus it's been a while since we've been sent on a mission like this, one where I am of use. he responded, his pale golden eyes flickering as he scanned the space he was in. The room was fairly large, the walls of uncut dull brown stone, sections of wall were smoothed down to accommodate a few decorations but for the most part was bare. The lighting was low, the only source was a roaring fire at Py's back which cast golden highlights on the walls, furniture and Py's own features. I think I will go wander around about... Find a better place for you to hide. he thought, rising from the skydancer shaped cushion.

He padded towards the arched doorway leading out of the room, Py wait! What if they become suspicious? Pyra thought to him.

He paused, just a few steps away from the door, They told me I was free to wander down to the kitchens for food. I can take that chance to wander around, since I'm knew. I'm bound to... Get lost looking for the correct room. he replied. He waited for a response, upon none, he slipped out into the hallway, the color scheme the same. Only the light came from torches instead of fireplaces. Py walked down a few halls, the details all fairly the same, that being, they were lacking. I guess this is what life under a mountain is like. Brown and gold, except without the metals. he thought, mildly amused.

All the halls and doors look the same. It's to confuse enemies that are wandering these halls. Unless you live here, you won't know where to go. came his sister's voice, I'm looking as well, but you need to pay attention to any details you see. Odd outcroppings on the wall are your best bet for figuring out where you are.

Py's eyes flitted from wall to wall, taking in as much detail as he could, but Pyra had always been better at it. I wish you could be doing this right now... he thought. You're better at looking at this stuff that I am.

Something like this was bound to happen eventually, plus you need the practice. Aside from that, you wouldn't be able to take over fast enough, what if someone saw us? Pyra said, mild irritation evident in he voice. Py sighed, going silent once more. Lost in thought, he almost missed the flash of light as he rounded a corner.

What was that? he thought

What was what? I didn't see anything? Pyra said, he could sense her apprehension. There wasn't much she missed, much she should miss, this was her job.

I'm gonna go look. Py darted forward before Pyra could protest. He poked his head around the corner to find another skydancer, he froze. She had icy white eyes that flickered like flames hotter than they had seen in a long time, her body looked like crystallized fire, reflecting prismatic colors, albeit dull from the lack of colored life on the walls. She ruffled her wings, looking abashed to have been caught, Py's breath caught. She's beautiful... they said in unison, all attention focused on the beautiful, glowing flame before them.

"Hi, sorry, I was looking for someone to direct me towards the kitchens? I've been starving ever since?" Pyra said, speaking for Py.

A flash of iritation, then gratitude, came from Py, but the female spoke, "Ah... Yes,

Ok so, Pyralis goes as a Courier, but also has to spy at night on a rival clan (which this could be the clan that eventually comes and contronts my clan, I'd have to modify the story a bit but it could work) so Pyralis goes to deliver a message, but has to stay and wait for the response and that's when he spots Aalisha (Their mate http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&tab=dragon&id=176736&did=35445340) and they both fall, hard, but Pyralis the spy is like (Yo, I can't do this rn, this dragon be fine AF but ****, my clan needs me) so they try to act cool but get close and then Pyralis finds out that Aaslisha is HALF-EMBER and was only suppose to be hosted by the current clan for only a few days, but she had been kept there for weeks and then Pyralis, after spying, was like "well ****, I'm an ember, and you're pretty damn awesome, come back with me" and this is what sparks the conflict
