Following a pursuit in biology, Floofty, alongside their brother Snorpy, was brought into a secret project to research prosthetics. Snorpy learned the government had intentions to sell the research to the government for military use, and tried to expose the project to shut it down. Both were cut from the project and a nasty smear campaign was spread to discredit both siblings, much to Floofty's dismay. They fell back into their biology research instead. When they came across Mezza's livestreamed ghost hunts, they were intrigued at her approach; she proclaimed herself a "skeptic believer" and sought to explain paranormal events with logic first, unlike other ghost hunters they'd seen previously. They began to follow her videos and often lent their opinions on things, sometimes harshly criticizing certain aspects of her career. She laughed their comments off with a shrug, often saying "ghost hunting wasn't for everyone!" She had them feature on an episode of her podcast, "Un-boo-lieveable tales" to get their opinion on a then-viral video of paranormal activity. She had them on her podcast quite often after the positive feedback, and eventually she started claiming them as her co-host. After two years of friendship, they began dating. During their friendship, they had a son named Fluffington (Fluffy for short) with a dragon they prefer not to name, and began raising Fluffy by themselves. When they began dating Mezza, they cautiously introduced the two, to which Mezza immediately grew attached to Fluffy. |
