Priestess of the Moon

During the day, Saranus is the modest head priestess of the church dedicated to the King and Queen. A big-hearted dragoness with a love for the moon and sky, she can often be found providing aid to the homeless or needful in the city, or spreading her teachings with a gentle grace.

While Saranus is surprisingly young for her position, she more than makes up for the perceived fault in sheer passion for her duty. When she is not working in the church, she can be found rallying support in the city or working alongside the other dragons who are members of the church, regardless of their position or rank. There are few dragons who do not admire her for her dedication alone.

However, Saranus's personal life is very much a mystery. She maintains a professional front at all times, and it's hard to find her with a free moment. In the rare times she is not working at the church, she is impossible to find, and there isn't a single dragon who could tell you where she goes or what she does.

"The Servant of the Moon" can be found late at night, and throughout the hours of sleep. A feather-winged Imperial with a purpose, she defends the Whispering City and its' inhabitants, considering them all 'children of the Moon'. Upon her back glows a powerful magical symbol which has the gravity of power in it.

She believes totally and utterly in a draconic Moon god, believing him or her to be the one who gave her her powers and the one to 'cleanse the land' of the 'barbaric upstarts claiming to be gods'. Her utter non-belief in the dragon gods and goddesses would make her a social outcast anywhere else, but in the Whispering City, such ties are cast aside, so she is merely thought an oddity.

She has repeatedly defended citizens of all sorts from beastclan attacks, draconic invaders, and other threats. While she has repeatedly attempted to work in sync with the guards of the city, Glanmor is determined to pretend she does not exist, as her existence counters his attempt at complete atheism.
