Biography
An excellent grape boy.
Why do you eat so many grapes?? You're an insectivore??? Where do you put all the grapes???
I don't know what to do with you yet, but you're cute and pure and I love you.
His name means "grape" in Danish and Norwegian. Of course I went there.
He likes to annoy Duntyche. He's just hyperactive from all the sugar.
Drue was the offspring of a warrior-turned-scholar and his scholar maten a female with a curiosity that trumped much else in her life. Slazir and Nyissas had lots of hatchlings, but Drue was special. Different. From the moment he was hatched he had a see-through belly, liquid sloshing inside him. As a child he liked to swirl aroundn making the visible liquid move and dance to the delight of his siblings, who called it "his juice". His mother spent much of her time researching the condition in the ancient library that she loved to frequent --what could have caused such an anomoly? Aridatha, a friend of his mother's, claimed to know. They were born in Plague Territory, and were subject to the whims of The Disease. She would croon over him as a hatchling, a kind smile on her face, and told him he was accepted above all. He had been blessed, and his lige and his offspring would be blessed as well. Now, if only he could figure out what that meant for his future...
