Mauve was cast out of her clan after her shy nature caused some of the higher-ups of her previous clan to see her as weak. The previous researcher, Shortcake, found her hiding in Fizzclan's food storage and allowed her to join as his apprentice. When Shortcake was exalted, Mauve took his role, and has been serving with the clan ever since.

Mauve has built up her talents in the magic arts, and has perfected her own personal healing and harming spells, so much so that she now battles alongside Neon and Turq, as their primary medic. When not in combat, she uses her spells to dig and scavenge for special or rare items.

Mauve is rather meek and shy. Despite her size advantage, she will usually back down and dislikes confrontation against other dragons in and out of clan. Mauve prefers to work and study by her lonesome, and takes her time alone to recharge.

Mauve has had four different mates over the years:

A Pearlcatcher named Sil, whom she had twin Pearcatcher daughters, Tiffy and Taffy. Both the father and the daughters have since been exalted.

A Snapper named Orchid, whom she had four Snapper children with. Morgan left the clan to continue her own exploits in another clan. Her two sisters and one brother, Graige, Blink, and Storms, were all exalted. Orchid was eventually exalted as well.

A Mirror named Scapula, whom she had two Mirror sons and an Imperial daughter with. Both of the sons, Taiga and Aloysius, have since been exalted, along with Scapula. Krista, the daughter, left Fizzclan to continue her exploits in another clan.

A Ridgeback named Shoji, whom she had three Ridgeback daughters with. Two of them weren't given a name, and were exalted. Shoji was also exalted. The third child, Lionalese, continued on to another clan.
