The story of exactly how Lysander came to be in charge of the entertainment section of The Cat's Meow could be long or short, depending of who exactly is telling it and how much they feel like blabbing.

For Neko, it's short- she saw a person down on his luck who was damn good at playing guitar, and was playing said instrument for some tips at the edge of Can Town. She decided to take a chance and give him a job. She knows an opportunity when she sees one, after all.

Ask Lysander and it's naturally a much more harrowing tale that absolutely must be told over a fair few drinks, with a few fun interruptions for questions. The gist of his end of the tale is that he was running with a group of caravan raiders (naturally he was low on the pecking order, they kept him around for his personality, instrument playing and his deft hands (ladies)). Well one job went more than a little south and he found hisself all alone in the wasteland of Plague without a friend in sight, and with a past too checkered for anyone to give him a proper chance. Except his current and very dear employer, Neko.

The two tales of course have a slight bit of truth to them, but conveniently plaster over the more gruesome parts. Lysander was the head of said raiders- well- hired thieves/mercs might be a more accurate description. He didn't particularly enjoy the work, but he did like the money and attention, especially when his group got a little rowdy and demanded a solo act from him. There was a job that did go rather south and yes he was playing his guitar on the edge of Can Town looking to shore up a little coin when he met Neko.

Neko also of course neglects to mention that she knows absolutely all of Lysander's past and well if you're going to hire an entertainment manager, one who's loyal to you and good with a blade definitely doesn't hurt.

And just in case you're wondering his level of talent with some strings- he will absolutely decimate in a bard fight.

Storyteller's Strings 		Neko
His dear employer. Like most other employees he enjoys the perks she hands out and knows he could do a damn sight worse (especially if Walter ever found out about his previous employment), but he can also see that a lady who can calmly say 'Now darling please be reasonable' while holding a knife to someone's eye is not one that you cross.


Snowblood
Lysander feels like he knows Snow's type pretty well, and finds her presence comforting. She works for who he works for, and she's the strictly lawful (or at least will strictly stick to the terms of a contract) type, and if your back's against the wall it's best to have someone at your side who can punch through said wall.

-Rather jovial and relaxed. He likes seeing what life'll throw at him next
-Not averse to a fight, though around here he's gonna hang back and pull out his violin should real trouble arise, 'cause he knows they got this. (His violin of course will pull up supportive magic and enchantments)
-Doesn't like leaving the Cities unless he absolutely has to
-Occasionally pops up around Can Town or the Stone City, playing his guitar or violin. He likes seeing who'll take notice, and which tourists will throw a few t into the open case.
-Also knows Hawk's type pretty well and though they should get along Lysander prefers to keep much out of the other man's way. Hawk's fun attitude, he knows, will only last so long.
