Archeologist Ruu
"I have never seen anything like this before. Does it come before the second lifetime?"

  • Ruu is a professor at the scholar's college in Whisperwind. He is also a partner at the Whisperwind Museum where many of his finds are displayed.
  • His field of study is archeology, specifically the second lifetime. He originally came to the territory to study the many ruins scattered about the area.
  • He underestimated the danger of the Wanderers Plain and managed lost in the endless sea of grasses. Thankfully, Truffle and a few of her scouts found him and managed him back to the newly established Concordia (this was way back when the clan first settled in the area).
  • Naturally, wishing to learn the history of the land they occupied they welcomed him to the clan and offered him a home in the territory. That was an offer he happily took, considering the volume of ruins in the area he knew it would take him the rest of his life to study what the territory had to offer. That and he needed a place to set down roots. He was transient before the offer.
  • He still travels and teaches abroad, but when all is said and done happily comes home.
  • He enjoys the company of Naeblis and Bobert and the three are often seen together discussing their theories, or in Bobert's case, his conspiracies.

  • Ruu is a fun loving kinda Imperial on his down time, but during work hours he's lacks any sort of humor. He takes matters of preservation as well as the security of his crew most seriously.
  • Very intelligent, but is known to be a bit scatterbrained when attempting subjects or concerns that do not directly relate to his work or archeology in general.
  • He is one of the first to believe in Bobert or Naeblis' strange theories or discoveries because he knows full well how myths link with reality.
  • Very, very, nearsighted
  • Loves to read, especially if the material is about the second lifetime or before
  • He also enjoys putting together dioramas and miniatures. The process helps him focus and settle his nerves.
  • At present he is trying to rebuild all of the dioramas that were destroyed in Whisperwind's museum after the struggle during the Sins of the Deities arch.

Ruu has come in search of the Second Lifetime ruins that are scattered among the Wanderers Plains. Underestimating the danger of the plains he managed himself lost and in trouble. Though, thankfully, he was found by Swiftclaw during a routine patrol of the area. He was brought back to the clan to rest and recover and in the process drew the fancy of the Librarians of the clan. They offered to finance his work and provide him with safer work conditions. He found numerous artifacts for the clan and has expanded their knowledge of the Second Lifetime. When the job was done and it was time to leave the clan simply could not see him go. He was invited into the family and he happily took the position. He works closely with Naeblis and Bobert. He also commissions Narie to go find artifacts he couldn't otherwise get to. 		1052.png
