_______ Minerva's egg was left with Svarus and Alistair by a stranger who said she'd be back for it but never returned. Not wanting to abandon the egg further, they hatched it themselves and raised the baby inside.

Though she loves them immensely, Minerva isn't super social with her family, spending most of her time in the forest with her incredibly large flock of corvids, which she would claim as her charge. The species range from large ravens to small pesky blue jays; as long as it's a corvid, it's part of the flock. Her birds are what led to her meeting Korbinian, an ornithologist with a particular interest in corvids. 		_______
