Glitterdust

Glitterdust grew up in the Wispwillow Grove with a caring family who loved their daughter as much as she loved them. Eventually though, she desired to leave her family's nest in order to start her own adventure. With many heartfelt goodbyes, she flew off towards the Driftwood Drag, and found her mate a few moons later. Not too long after, they nested three beautiful hatchlings and continued to live happily together. But Glitterdust's life would soon turn tragic.
On a moonless night her home was raided by a group of bloodthirsty Imperials, and her family was killed in their wake. Injured and outraged, she screeched at the night sky as she gave chase to the fiends, but they flew off before she could reach them. With her injured wing she could not fly, and wailed as she sank to the ground, bloody from the fight and heartbroken. Hopeless and alone, she could do nothing but cry at the loss of her beloved family. She sobbed on the cold ground until a rustling noise was heard from her flank. Bitterly she laughed and asked whoever was behind her if they came to finish her off as well. She was surprised when she saw a female Snapper appear in front of her and became even more surprised when the Snapper who introduced herself as Shortcake, began to treat her wounds. Shortcake gently asked what had happened, and Glitterdust could barely grit out the sudden tragedy before bursting into tears again. Shortcake did not leave her to mourn as Glitterdust expected, but instead came closer to comfort the Imperial while she cried throughout the night.
When morning came, Shortcake asked if she wanted to return to the Abiding Boneyard with her. Shocked but not against the suggestion, Glitterdust nodded and with Shortcake's help, made the journey to The Sickened Sanctuary. Shortcake continued to treat her injuries there until she made a full recovery, and a strong sisterly bond eventually formed between the two.
Although Glitterdust would be forever heartbroken over the death of her mate and hatchlings, she found comfort with her new family and peace from aiding those in need. She spends her days assisting Shortcake with taking in new members and is more often than not by the Snapper's side.
