Born in the harsh lands of the Southern Icefield, Kyros' personality is almost as harsh as southern winters. He is a naturally abrasive dragon, pessimistic, and practical in all he does. It's rare to find Kyros doing something other than training or patrolling.

These habits were learned early in life, the son of a mercenary who was eager to follow his father's footsteps. Though once part of a great mercenary clan, the senior Wintermoon was ousted for failing to adhere to the clan's code of honor. Kyros get up hearing about the injustice of it all and found himself repeating his father's angry, entitled phrases.

Time passed, and the young imperial grew into a skilled swordsman. But after his father died in a beastclan skirmish, Kyros was set adrift and alone. He sold his sword to survive, taking up loyalty to whoever paid the highest. But in mercenary circles, the Wintermoon name was a marked one. Dishonor finally drove him from the Southern Icefield, dogged by his father's poor reputation and the fact that, as he grew, Kyros resembled the bitter sellsword even more.

Kyros' adventures eventually landed him in the Cloudsong, broke and bitter at a cruel world. He was at the point of selling own blade, his most cherished possession, to a smith when a second chance blew in on a breeze. The Samurai of the Wind, led by a brilliant blue tundra, accepted him into their ranks after he proved his skill. Now, Kyros fights for his place in the clan and dreams of returning to the icy fields of his birth.
