Aido:

A large reservoir of deep crystal clear water, a mossy stone bridge leading from one side to the other. The water was littered with lilypads and flower petals. On the back wall there's a massive marble statue of a dragon in a mask, two monstrous flowering trees stand strong on either side, the deity of the labyrinth. Aido..

Long before the Snake’s Labyrinth was built there was a small village sitting in a large open grove surrounded by a briar. A little pure white hatchling broke the forbidden rule: Do not leave the village. Pulled by his curiosity found a hole in the thorny brambles and left the safety of his home, he walked and walked and walked till he could walk no further he collapsed. He later awoke in the company of a dark green hatchling, they were green from their feathers and eyes to the tip of their tail, they carried a satchel that had flower and herbs poking out, a simple orange jewel on a brown string hung sound their neck, the same orange jewel sat perfectly on their head like a crown. The two talked till the sky went dark, when the morning light woke them the green hatchling asked for his name but Hatchlings aren’t given their names by their parents so he asked them to name him Aido meaning ‘Cold but Beautiful’. They continued to meet in the same clearing they first met in winter turns to autumn, autumn to spring and to summer , as time went by they grew, and they fell in love, after they last meeting Aido went back to the village like usual only to find instead of the village they was a deep cavern it was as if the town was spirited away in his grief he flew back to the clearing and told his only love what had happened, and so they went there together, they started a family and that family grew and grew till they both past in their sleep, and as time went by a fire burnt any record of his lover and they were forgotten, a statue was built in his name and they spirit of him and his love remained to watch over the new home the Snake’s Labyrinth as the guardian deities.
