V A X E Y N the unfortunate ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁ A Child of the Wasteland. Nothing but Plague blood runs through her veins, unfiltered disease fuels her magic. With scales made to resemble the Mother of Pestilence she is an ode. Child of a seer and a priest, raised on beliefs and visions of a world in which survival is key. A world where disease runs rampant and where only the strong rule. Yet there is order in this vision, and these children have been taught leadership skills for their upcoming purpose. To be a guide to others in the Wasteland, to nourish and to serve the ideals of the Plaguebringer herself. She has been raised with both spiritual knowledge and fierce battle skills. An icon of her flight. And yet... Vax left her birthclan with strong ideals and stronger powers, but strayed far from her path. Groomed from an early age into a life that she never wanted she was quick to rebel whenever she could. And when she finally did leave her prison she began to wander. With no intention of guiding or helping, she instead began to conquer inferior clans to pass the time. When that could no longer satisfy her, she left the Scarred Wasteland as a whole. At the end of her long travels she sought refuge in the Viridian Labyrinth. An act of betrayal that she felt in her very life blood. She was torn. Not wanting to seek out the 'destiny' that was trust upon her, yet yearning for understanding in the land that was dear to her. She ended up staying in the Viridian Labyrinth a long time to ponder her choices when she met a Coatl and pursued a relationship. The relationship would be the cause which drove her home again. Upon their first and only nest, the natural powers of the land and her innate plague magic conflicted too much, and when none of her children lived past their first breath, she left without a word. She abandoned her mate and vanished from the Labyrinth. The trek back to the Wasteland was made without stopping for food or sleep. Now she strays through the Wasteland itself in search for atonement. Her sins a heavy burden on her. The deaths of her children still a searing memory in her mind. The Wasteland rarely forgives, and in the end, she is but a child of the Wasteland, and does not forgive herself. | ____________ |
