D U N E D A I N
RANGER

Daughter of the great Emerald, she is the Clan's Ranger, who patrols the borders of Clan territory and repels invaders. Like her brother Myrddin, she loves the wild and tangled forest, but unlike him, she enjoys the companionship of the Clan and often regrets the time she must spend away from family and friends.

From an early age, she showed a fascination with GulfStream's bow and arrows, and when she grew old enough, she became a student of Map. She learned quickly, and due to her fondness for exploring the woods, she eventually took on the role of Ranger, spending much of her time alone. In the forest, her sole companion is her loyal spaniel Numenor, who helps her by alerting her to unfamiliar scents, and barking an alarm at strange noises. Dunedain has found a mate in Ywain, the Wolf Warrior, whose dedication to the nomadic life is as true as hers.

Unlike her brother Myrddin, she has no magic of her own... at least as far as she is aware. But Map is fond of remarking that she is a wizard with her chosen weapon, and indeed her arrows do seem to fly with more accuracy than is dragonly possible. The Clan has begun to whisper amongst themselves, wondering if perhaps she really does possess magic, but simply hasn't realized it yet.
